Capacity building in communities

Training, 2007-2011, Syuniq, Vayots Dzor, Shirak and Tavush Regions

During 2007-2011 EDRC in assistance with Oxfam GB implemented a training project intended to improve fiscal management capacities in communities, increase transparency of budget execution in communities via applying monitoring tools, increase sense of ownership among community members towards their community and increase their involvement in participatory budgeting, and increase realization of their own rights among socially insecure and poor people, as well as properly addressed community or governmental programs towards protection of those rights. Training guides are available here.
