Export Promotion in Armenia

The “EXPORT PROMOTION” was a joint initiative of the Ministry of Economy and the World Bank Armenia office, organized by the Economic Development and Research Centre (EDRC) at the AUA Manoogian Conference hall, in Yerevan.
The main purpose of the Conference was to serve as a platform for dialogue and practical exchange of ideas, initiatives and knowledge in the area of Export Promotion. The Conference was focused on the need to rebalance Armenia’s growth model towards tradable sectors,and revealed the competitive advantages and constraints of exporting in Armenia. More than 80 representatives from various international organizations, policymakers and practitioners, businessmen, academics and think tanks working in this area attended the conference, thus contributing to the vision of export diversification and promotion in Armenia by making exhaustive presentations and active discussions.
